To comply with the official security regulations and administration bylaws established by the 105° Sail View Condominium Association in Puerto Vallarta, all incoming guests must be registered prior to arrival. The condominium administration strictly mandates the collection of a valid photo identification (such as a Passport or Driver's License) alongside the building's official registration form.

Your hosts, Jeffrey Maher and Jason McCallum, along with their authorized co-hosting team, handle this data with strict confidentiality in accordance with standard data privacy principles:

  • Purpose: Your data and photo ID are processed exclusively to verify your booking identity, authorize building access through the front-desk concierge, and ensure community security during your stay.
  • Data Access & Visibility: To streamline your check-in, your documents are viewed digitally by our listing's authorized co-hosts via the Airbnb platform or our secure registration system. Co-hosts only view this information for verification purposes; files are not downloaded or stored on personal devices.
  • Data Sharing: This information is shared exclusively with authorized co-hosts, 105° Sail View property management and on-site security personnel. It is never sold, leased, or shared with third parties.
  • Retention Policy: Your photo ID and registration records are stored securely and is only retained for as long as reasonably necessary.
  • Cancellation & Booking Policies: This identity verification is a standard building security requirement, openly disclosed as a condition of booking. The requirement to provide a photo ID does not constitute grounds for an emergency cancellation or a refund outside of the Airbnb cancellation policy. Standard cancellation penalties will strictly apply if you choose to cancel your reservation due to this policy.

By submitting your registration form and photo ID, you explicitly consent to these building security and data processing terms. Please note that building registration is a strict management policy; failure to provide the required identification will result in building security denying entry to the premises.
